Made from the same material as professional bite suits, the Landshark Reward Tug is a Nylcot/French Linen reward toy designed for serious training, bitework development, and high-drive dogs that demand a little more from their equipment. Measuring 4" × 11", this tug provides a substantial target for engaging your dog and the handle loop gives you easy control and allows you to provide feedback. (i.e. serious tugging).

Unlike "stuffing-filled" tug toys that can quickly become limp and floppy, the Landshark Bite Tug is filled with rolled polyfill batting. The rolled sheet provides a firm, consistent body that helps the tug maintain its shape through repeated use. That means it continues to feel like a tug, not a flattened piece of fabric, even after heavy training sessions.

What's a "Reward Tug"

Typically seen in the Working Dog space, a Reward Tug is high value toy that your dog gets during interactive sessions with you as a reward for doing something. This reward is basically just a great tug session with their favorite person (you) for a job well done.

What's Nylcot & French Linen?

Nylcot is a thick, durable fabric made from nylon and cotton. The nylon gives it its strength, and the cotton gives it its plushness. This creates a fabric that's made to take a 250psi or higher bite, and still keep on kicking. It's also known as "French Linen", and it's what those puffy suits that trainers use to train police dogs wear.

Can You Do Other Sizes?

Yes! Just like all of our gear, our tugs are made in-house so we are always open to doing custom sizes.
